The State of the Woman is calling women from all backgrounds for a two-day conference to address some of the key issues affecting women’s rights today.
iWomanTV will be raising funds throughout the evening to support our growing Empowerment Film Academy (EFA), a collaboration with The Trigg House, 501(c)3 as well as the iWomanTV Film Fund.
Women represent 38.8% of all participants in the labor force and 49.6% of the global population is women. This one half of the entire world only gets paid 82 cents for every dollar men are paid. Yet, women are a superpower contributing over $20 trillion in consumer spending globally.
Despite the upward movement of women, we continue to be marginalized, underrepresented, and underestimated. Women are working to make the change needed to unite women globally, end violence against women, fight for economic justice and reproductive rights as well as put an end to racism.
